Uni-Europa, through its 30 affiliated trade unions, represents around 300,000 employees in the Private Security industry in Europe. The organisation services and coordinates European Works Councils (EWC's) in the following major European security companies, including Group 4 Securitas, Securitas AB and Securicor.
The major themes of Uni-Europa's activities have concentrated on raising the standards in the industry. This has included jointly developing training programmes, encouraging the licensing of the industry. Regular exchanges take place at conferences of affiliates where the latest developments are studied and discussed.
